It once served as a hotel in the 1890s, but since then, the Grand Lake Historical Society bought the property and turned it into a museum. Today, tour guides will show you the artifacts inside and educate you on the history of the building.

Downtown Grand Lake doesn’t have the high-rise buildings and bustling streets of Denver. However, it does offer an upbeat atmosphere, cozy bars, and some of the best eateries in the state.
The historic buildings make you feel as if you’re transported back to the Wild West. Inside, you can sample some delicious cuisines such as BBQ and pizza. And later in the evening, mingle with the locals over a drink at the bar.
