WILDLIFE

Colorado is home to some amazing wildlife, from moose to black bears and even Bighorn sheep. You can also find bobcats, over 200 species of birds, and mountain lions.

Grand Lake is almost a frontier town, in the sense that it’s surrounded by nature trails, national parks and other wilderness.

While animals sometimes appear on ski trails, the best place to find them is probably Rocky Mountain National Park, just outside of Grand Lake.

From gorgeous birds, moose, fox, eagles, elk, bighorn sheep, black bears and much more, you will have no problem at all keeping busy with spotting these great animals and birds nearby.

In addition, boating provides a unique vantage point for observing animals in their natural habitat too.

There’s no way we can do it justice in words though. You have to see the pictures to believe it.
